Two masters of music combine to produce the richest blend of electronica, nu-jazz and world music. A 21st Century amalgam "without a hint of a clich?ɬ in sight" The Guardian

Once again setting the standard for others to follow, Robert Miles and Trilok Gurtu render the potential of man-machine interplay on a deeply intuitive and profoundly musical new level.

While there are some precedents for Miles_Gurtu's combination of live playing and transformative technology; the avant-garde cyberjazz of DJ Spooky, the visceral experiments of Warp Records' Squarepusher or the real time virtuosity of live King Crimson for example, none of these projects has quite the depth, breadth, attention to detail and sheer vibe that is so abundant in Miles_Gurtu.

The synergy of great musicians is always life-affirming, and nevermore so when, as here, they travel together to a place none of them could have previously foreseen. On Miles_Gurtu these players truly enter each other's world.

"We make bridges, not barriers" says Trilok.

Prepare to be amazed.
