The remix's are the result of an international competition that Robert Miles had running on his web site. Out of 720 entries', all competing for $3000 and a release opportunity, S:alt Records proudly presents the two winners!!
First up is Fissure who turns out a lusciously deep house mix that would feel right at home locking in the groove at Twilo. Andrew Nicholson was so inspired by his win that he spent his money on a trip to the Sonar music conference in Barcelona.
On the flip side Kuzu deliver another deep electronic groove. Steering clear of the 4/4 action with ambient textures fused with minimal relentless beats in this dark, futuristic continually evolving soundscape. Sam Brown and Huw Jones have spent their money on a lap top so they can bring their fresh electronica sound to the Nottingham public and start performing long awaited lives.
